We start by preparing a delicious and nutritious soup, perfect for cool days. The first step is to put 4 liters of water in a large pot, which we place over medium heat. We add a tablespoon of olive oil to enhance the flavor of the soup and to help cook the vegetables. While the water begins to boil, we take care of the vegetables.

We choose a variety of fresh vegetables, such as carrots, celery, bell peppers, and onions. The carrots are cut into rounds or small cubes, the celery is finely chopped, and the bell peppers and onions are sliced into thin strips. Once the vegetables are prepared, we add them to the pot of boiling water. It is important to add them all at once to ensure they cook evenly.

After about 15-20 minutes, the vegetables will be cooked and will release their flavors into the water. Now is the time to add the tomato broth or tomato juice, depending on our preferences. This will give the soup a vibrant color and a rich flavor. Next, we add salt to taste, to enhance all the ingredients. If we want a slightly sour note, we can add borscht, which will intensify the taste of the soup.

We let the soup boil for another ten minutes, so all the flavors combine perfectly. It is important to taste and adjust the seasonings if necessary. Once the time has passed, it is time to add the fish. It can be any type of fish, but sea bream or cod, cut into suitable portions, work best. We let them boil for a maximum of ten minutes, and when the fish rises to the surface, we know it's ready.

Finally, we add freshly chopped herbs, such as parsley or dill, which will provide an extra freshness and color to our soup. We stir gently and let the soup sit for a few minutes before serving. This soup is not only delicious, but it is also full of nutrients, providing us with a healthy and comforting meal. It can be served with a slice of fresh bread to complete the culinary experience.
