Meat - Rustic pizza by Sanda A. - Recipia
Homemade pizza is one of the most beloved dishes, perfect for enjoying with family or friends. In this recipe, I chose to use ingredients favored by each family member to create a delicious combination that satisfies all tastes.

To begin, we focus on the dough, which is the foundation of any successful pizza. In a bowl, we dissolve the yeast in warm water, being careful not to make it too hot to avoid killing the yeast. Then, we add the two teaspoons of salt, which not only enhances the flavor but also helps in developing the dough's texture. Oregano adds a specific aromatic note to the pizza, while the oil contributes to the dough's elasticity. We start adding flour gradually, mixing constantly until we achieve a homogeneous mixture. It is important to knead the dough patiently until it easily comes off the hands, having a firm consistency but not excessively hard. If you want a fluffier pizza, let the dough rest for about half an hour in the fridge to relax the gluten.

During this time, we preheat the oven to a medium temperature to ensure even baking. Then, we dedicate ourselves to preparing the ingredients: we slice the salami thinly, and the bell pepper and peeled tomatoes can be diced or sliced, depending on preferences. The olives can be used whole or halved, adding a salty note that perfectly complements the flavor.

Once the dough is ready, we divide it into four equal portions and start rolling it out on a floured surface, being careful to maintain its round shape as much as possible. Each piece of dough is generously spread with ketchup, which will add a layer of moisture and flavor. Then, we let our imagination run free, arranging our favorite ingredients on top of the dough. The final step is to grate cheese on top, creating a golden and appetizing crust.

The pizza is placed in the preheated oven and baked for about 30 minutes. It is the perfect moment to enjoy the aromas that fill the house. When the pizza is perfectly browned, we take it out of the oven, let it cool slightly, then cut it into slices and enjoy every bite. Bon appétit!
