Grilled Marinated Ribs – Simple and Delicious Recipe

Who doesn't dream of juicy, flavorful, and slightly caramelized pork ribs on the grill? This Texas-style marinated ribs recipe is perfect for an outdoor meal or a weekend evening with friends. With a marinade full of flavors, these ribs will surely become the stars of the table. Let's get started!

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Marinating time: 6 hours (ideal) or overnight
Cooking time: 30-40 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:
- 500g pork ribs (about 4 pieces)
For the marinade:
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon red wine
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Provence herbs
- 1 teaspoon curry
- 1/2 teaspoon chili
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste

Step by step:

1. Preparing the marinade: In a medium bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients: honey, sugar, balsamic vinegar, ketchup, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Provence herbs, curry, and chili. Add the two tablespoons of water to thin the marinade. Mix well with a spatula or whisk until the mixture is smooth.

2. Preparing the ribs: Wash the pork ribs well and dry them with a paper towel. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides to enhance the flavors.

3. Marinating: Using a kitchen brush or simply your hands, rub the marinade over all surfaces of the ribs, ensuring they are completely coated. Place the ribs in a glass or plastic dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate. It is ideal to let the ribs marinate for at least 6 hours, but for optimal results, leave them overnight.

4. Grilling: Preheat the grill to medium heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade, allowing the excess marinade to drip off. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for 30-40 minutes, turning them occasionally for even browning. The ribs are ready when the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.

5. Serving: Once the ribs are ready, let them rest for 5-10 minutes before cutting. This step allows the juices to redistribute, making the meat even juicier. Serve the ribs hot, alongside a fresh salad or baked potatoes. You can also add a side of barbecue sauce for extra flavor.

Practical tips:
- You can experiment with different types of wine or sauces in the marinade to customize the flavor of the ribs.
- If you like spicier ribs, add more chili or even a few drops of hot sauce to the marinade.
- The grill can be replaced with an oven, setting the temperature to 180°C and leaving the ribs in the oven for 1 hour.

These grilled marinated ribs are perfect for a party, but can also be enjoyed with family. With a rich taste and perfect texture, they are definitely a treat you shouldn't miss! Enjoy your meal!
