Total time: 50 minutes
Number of servings: 6

Are you looking for a simple and quick recipe for a delicious lunch or dinner? Meatballs are always a perfect choice! They are not only tasty but also versatile, as they can be served with various side dishes. Follow the steps below to achieve perfectly browned, juicy, and flavorful meatballs.

Essential ingredients:
- 1 kg ground meat (pork, beef, or a combination of both)
- 1 large carrot, grated
- 1 head of garlic, crushed
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 2 medium potatoes, grated
- 150 ml oil (for frying)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt (or to taste)
- Freshly ground pepper (a pinch)
- Delicat (or preferred seasoning, to taste)
- A bunch of fresh parsley, chopped
- A bunch of fresh dill, chopped

Step 1: Preparing the ingredients
Start by preparing all the ingredients. Grate the carrot, grate the potatoes, and finely chop the onion. The garlic can be crushed with a knife or a garlic press. These ingredients will add a rich flavor to your meatballs.

Step 2: Mixing the composition
In a large bowl, add the ground meat, eggs, grated carrot, garlic, and onion. Mix the ingredients well with your hands to ensure they combine evenly. Add the grated potatoes, salt, pepper, and Delicat, then continue mixing until you achieve a homogeneous composition. Finally, add the chopped parsley and dill, which will provide a special freshness to the meatballs.

Step 3: Forming the meatballs
Once the mixture is well combined, take a portion of the mixture and form balls the size of a golf ball. Flatten them slightly to cook evenly. You can use flour on your hands to prevent sticking.

Step 4: Frying the meatballs
In a deep pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Test the temperature by adding a drop of the meatball mixture; if it sizzles, it's ready. Fry the meatballs in batches, avoiding overcrowding the pan to ensure even browning. Each side should be fried for about 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.

Step 5: Serving
After frying, remove the meatballs onto a paper towel to absorb excess oil. You can serve the meatballs hot alongside mashed potatoes, a fresh salad, or with tomato sauce. A delicious option is to serve them in a sandwich with fresh bread and vegetables.

Practical tips:
- For fluffier meatballs, you can add a slice of bread soaked in water or milk to the mixture.
- If you want a healthier option, you can bake the meatballs in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- You can experiment with spices by adding cumin or sweet paprika for a more intense flavor.

These meatballs are an excellent choice for family meals, being easy to prepare and extremely tasty. They will bring smiles to the faces of your loved ones, so don't hesitate to try them!
