To prepare a delicious bread, we start by making the dough. In a large bowl, we mix the flour with yeast, salt, and sugar, then add warm water and olive oil. We mix until we obtain a homogeneous dough, which we knead for about 10 minutes, until it becomes elastic and smooth. After we finish kneading, we cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about an hour or until it doubles in volume.

After the resting time, we start forming the flavorful meatballs. We turn the dough onto a floured surface and divide it into equal portions, forming small balls that we place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. We cover the tray with a damp towel and let it rise again for about 30 minutes, so it develops even more.

Meanwhile, we take care of the delicious filling. We finely mix the onion, garlic, and mint in a food processor until we obtain a homogeneous paste. We soak the bread stick in a bowl of warm water, then squeeze it well and add it to the minced meat mixture. This will give the filling a fluffier texture and absorb the flavors. We add a beaten egg to bind the ingredients and mix everything with our hands until we get a homogeneous composition.

With wet hands, we form larger and finer meatballs, which we place on a piece of plastic wrap. In a non-stick pan, we heat two tablespoons of oil. When the oil is hot, we fry the meatballs on both sides until they become golden and crispy, then we take them out onto a plate lined with paper towels to remove the excess oil. We cover the meatballs with aluminum foil to keep them warm and juicy.

Meanwhile, we return to our bread, which is now ready to bake. We place it in the preheated oven at 220 degrees Celsius and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped. After baking, we let the bread cool slightly on a rack to avoid getting soggy.

Once everything is ready, we assemble our dish: we take a piece of fresh bread, add a few delicious meatballs, and on top, we can put sauces or fresh vegetables, as preferred. It is a savory and comforting meal, perfect for any time of the day. Enjoy your meal!

450 g of chicken breast, 1 teaspoon of vegeta, pepper, 1/2 bunch of fresh mint, 1 egg, 1/4 baguette (bread), 1 medium onion, 2 cloves of garlic. For the bread: your favorite bread recipe, but with whole wheat flour. Salad: tomato, onion, cheese. For the sauce: 3 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of mustard.
