To prepare a refined and savory dessert, start by brewing the aromatic coffee, which will add a touch of intensity to your recipe. Use freshly brewed espresso, ensuring you get a concentrated, high-quality coffee. Once the coffee is ready, measure out 175 ml of it and combine it with 175 ml of Baileys, a creamy liqueur with a whisky flavor, which will give the dessert a note of elegance and an unmistakable taste. Mix the two ingredients well to achieve a homogeneous composition.

In a separate bowl, take 4 fresh egg yolks and beat them with 100 g of sugar until the mixture becomes frothy, with an airy texture and a light color. Add 250 g of mascarpone, a creamy Italian cheese, and mix gently to avoid lumps. At this stage, take 75 ml of the coffee and Baileys mixture and gently incorporate it into the mascarpone cream, ensuring everything combines evenly.

In another bowl, beat an egg white until you achieve a firm foam, which will add air and lightness to your dessert. Carefully add the beaten egg white into the mascarpone and yolk cream, gently folding with a spatula using up-and-down movements to maintain the volume of the foam.

Now, let’s take care of the ladyfingers! Take 200 g of ladyfingers (savoiardi) and quickly dip them into the coffee and Baileys mixture, being careful not to leave them too long to avoid excessive soaking. Lay a uniform layer of ladyfingers at the bottom of a tray, preferably a rectangular one. On top of this layer, spread half of the mascarpone cream, then place another layer of soaked ladyfingers. After that, finish with the remaining cream, smoothing the surface well.

Cover the tray with plastic wrap and let the dessert chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, but it is preferable to leave it overnight for the flavors to meld. Before serving, take the dessert out of the refrigerator and dust it generously with bitter cocoa to contrast with the sweetness of the dessert.

Each serving will provide a perfect balance between the rich flavor of the cream and the intense aroma of the coffee. This Baileys tiramisu is not only delicious but also a true visual delight, ideal for special occasions or to indulge yourself over the weekend.
