Start by softening the butter at room temperature, then add the sugar and mix well until you achieve a creamy and homogeneous mixture. It is important for the sugar to be well incorporated to obtain a fluffy cake. Add the eggs one by one, ensuring that each egg is well incorporated before adding the next. This step is essential for achieving a fine and airy texture.

After incorporating all the eggs, sift the flour together with the baking powder to avoid lumps.
