Muffins are those delights that bring a smile to your face regardless of the occasion. Fluffy, moist on the inside, and with an inviting aroma, these little cakes are perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert. Here’s how to make the most delicious chocolate muffins that will bring a touch of happiness in every bite.

Start by preparing all the ingredients. It is important to have sifted flour, good quality cocoa, baking powder, and sugar on hand. These ingredients will be the base of your recipe. In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and sugar well. Make sure everything is homogenized to avoid clumping of ingredients.

In another bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and oil. This combination will bring the necessary moisture to your muffins. The mixture should be well homogenized, and the eggs should be completely incorporated. Then, combine the two mixtures: add the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and, using a wooden spoon or a whisk, mix gently. Be careful not to overmix; it is perfect to leave a few lumps in the batter, as they will make the muffins fluffier.

If you notice that the batter is too thick, you can add a splash more of milk to give it a creamier texture. Once the batter is ready, add the chocolate broken into small pieces. This will give your muffins an intense flavor and an attractive appearance.

Prepare the muffin pan using special baking papers. If you do not have such papers, you can grease the molds with butter and dust them with flour to prevent the batter from sticking. Fill each mold with batter, about three-quarters full, to allow the muffins to rise beautifully during baking.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and place the pan inside. Bake the muffins for about 20 minutes or until they pass the toothpick test. Inserting a toothpick into the center of a muffin should come out clean. After taking them out of the oven, let them cool slightly before serving.

If you want to give them an extra touch of refinement, you can glaze them with melted chocolate. These muffins are delicious and simple, perfect for any time of the day. Enjoy them with a cup of milk or fragrant tea!
