To prepare delicious chocolate donuts, we start by gathering all the necessary ingredients. In a large bowl, sift 300 grams of flour, adding 10 grams of baking powder, a teaspoon of salt, and 100 grams of sugar. These dry ingredients are mixed well, ensuring there are no lumps and that the baking powder is evenly distributed.

Once we have prepared the dry ingredients, we make a well in the center of the mixture, where we will add the other wet ingredients. We crack 2 fresh eggs, which we will add into the created well, along with 150 ml of milk and 50 ml of oil. Using a mixer, we begin to mix everything on low speed, gradually increasing the speed until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. It is important to ensure that all ingredients are well integrated to achieve a fine texture.

While we mix the ingredients, we take care of the chocolate. We take 150 grams of dark or milk chocolate, depending on preference, and melt it in a bowl using the double boiler method. This process involves filling a pot with water and placing it on the heat, then placing the bowl with chocolate on top, being careful that the water does not touch the bowl. We stir the chocolate until it is completely melted, then let it cool slightly, but without allowing it to solidify. Once the chocolate has cooled, we add it to the dough mixture and continue to mix until everything is well incorporated.

Now, it’s time to take care of the donut maker. We turn it on to heat up, and in the meantime, we grease the molds with a little oil to prevent the dough from sticking. Using a teaspoon, we fill each mold with dough, being careful not to fill them to the brim. It is enough to fill them three-quarters full to allow the dough to rise during baking.

Once all the molds are filled, we close the machine and let the donuts bake for about 5 minutes. It is fascinating to observe how the dough transforms and takes on a beautiful, fluffy, and golden shape. When the time is up, we open the machine and remove the donuts using a spatula. They can be served plain or glazed with melted chocolate or dusted with sugar. This dessert is not only easy to prepare, but it also offers a pleasant culinary experience, being perfect for a delicious breakfast or a snack between meals. Enjoy!
