To prepare a delicious and comforting dessert, we start by gathering the necessary ingredients. In a medium-sized bowl, we add 250 grams of wheat flour. It is important to use quality flour to achieve a perfect dough. Over the flour, we add 100 grams of cold butter, cut into small cubes. The butter will add a rich flavor and a tender texture to our dough. We continue by adding 50 grams of powdered sugar, which will sweeten the dough and give it a touch of finesse.

After adding the dry ingredients, we break an egg yolk and incorporate it into the mixture. We use a spoon to mix initially, but as the ingredients combine, we will use our hands to knead the dough. It should become homogeneous and pull away from the sides of the bowl. Once the dough is ready, we wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for about an hour. This will allow the butter to harden, making the dough easier to roll out.

After the time has passed, we take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out on a floured surface. We roll the dough into a sheet about 1/2 cm thick. Then, we carefully transfer the dough into a cake pan, making sure to cover the edges well. Now we take care of the apples: we take a few apples (about 4-5, depending on size), cut them into quarters, peel them, and remove the seeds. It is important to slightly score each quarter to prevent it from breaking during baking. We drizzle the apples with lemon juice to prevent oxidation and to give them a fresh taste.

After placing the apples in the pan, we prepare the liquid mixture. We beat together two eggs with 100 grams of powdered sugar, 200 milliliters of liquid cream, and 2-3 tablespoons of lemon juice. This will add a tangy note that balances the sweetness of the apples. We carefully pour the mixture over the apples, ensuring they are completely covered.

We preheat the oven to 180°C and place the pan in the oven. We bake everything for about 30 minutes or until the dough turns golden and the filling sets. When the dessert is ready, we let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your meal!
