Fruit Salad with Ice Cream
Watermelon, with its juicy texture and fresh aroma, is perfect for hot summer days. We start by cutting it in half, making sure to use a sharp knife to get a clean cut. We set one half aside, and with the other, we prepare to create a fruity delicacy. Using a teaspoon, we begin to scoop out the flesh from the watermelon half, being careful not to break the rind, which will become the perfect container for our fruit salad.
After scooping out the flesh, we proceed to score the edges of the watermelon, giving it a more attractive appearance. The scooped flesh is cut into small cubes, and half of the quantity obtained is carefully placed inside the watermelon rind. This will be the base of our delicious fruit salad.
Meanwhile, we take care of the other fruits. Cherries, with their sweet-tart flavor, are an excellent choice. We wash them well, remove the pits, and generously place them over the cut watermelon. We continue with the banana, slicing it into thin rounds. These are placed over the cherries, adding a creamy note to our salad.
Apricot, with its distinct aroma, is the next fruit on the list. We slice it thinly and carefully arrange it over the other fruits. Apples, crunchy and juicy, are also added. We cut them into medium-sized cubes and easily scatter them over the already formed layers.
The orange, with its refreshing juice, is peeled, and the slices are carefully separated. The amount of orange can be chosen according to individual preferences, bringing a pleasant contrast of flavors. Over all these fruits, we add a few more pieces of watermelon, thus completing the layering.
To add a surprise element, we cut the ice cream into smaller pieces and sprinkle them on top, creating a contrast of textures between the fruits and the ice cream. This combination not only looks appetizing but also promises an explosion of flavors in every bite.
After we finish arranging all the ingredients, it’s time to enjoy this colorful and delicious salad. Bon appétit!
