Desert - No-Bake Orange Cake by Laura O. - Recipia
The crushed biscuits are combined with melted butter and the two tablespoons of sugar, and then we gradually add milk, mixing well to obtain a homogeneous composition that does not crumble. This mixture will constitute the delicious base of our cake. We take a detachable cake pan and cover the bottom with a piece of aluminum foil or cling film, to facilitate the removal of the cake at the end. We pour the biscuit mixture into the pan and spread it evenly, pressing lightly to form a compact layer.

For the cake filling, we take care of the oranges. We squeeze the four oranges, obtaining a fresh and aromatic juice, then we add the finely crushed gelatin packet to the juice. It is important to let the gelatin sit for about 10 minutes to hydrate properly. In the meantime, we prepare the filling. In a bowl, we mix the cheese with the yogurt and the 100 grams of sugar, adjusting the amount of sugar to taste. We use a mixer to obtain a creamy and uniform composition.

After the gelatin has hydrated, we heat the orange juice gently until the gelatin completely dissolves. This will give an intense flavor and a pleasant texture to the filling. Then, we add the orange juice to the cheese and yogurt mixture, mixing again until everything becomes homogeneous. Thus, we obtain a delicious filling, which we carefully pour over the biscuit base in the cake pan.

Now, it is time to let the cake cool for about 3 hours until the filling sets and becomes firm. Once it has hardened, we focus on the decoration: we can decorate the cake with pieces of orange, as our imagination dictates. On top, we pour the gelatin prepared according to the instructions on the Tort Gelle packet from Dr. Oetker, providing a shiny and attractive layer. We let the cake cool for another hour, so the gelatin sets.

After it has completely cooled and the decoration is ready, we cut the cake into slices and prepare to taste this refreshing and aromatic delicacy. It is an ideal recipe for any occasion, bringing a touch of sunshine to every plate. Enjoy your meal!
