Desert - Cream Puffs with Ness and Chocolate by Natasa E. - Recipia
Doughnuts are a classic dessert, easy to make, yet extremely delicious. These fluffy delights are perfect for serving at a party or simply to treat the family on an ordinary day. Their preparation involves a few steps, but the result is well worth the effort.

We start with the doughnuts. In a pot, we bring to a boil 250 ml of water, 100 ml of oil, and a teaspoon of salt. It is important that all ingredients are well combined. When the mixture reaches boiling point, we remove the pot from the heat. Now, we add 150 g of flour, mixing vigorously with a whisk until the mixture becomes uniform and easily separates from the walls of the container. We let the dough cool for about 10 minutes. Once it has cooled, we start adding the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. It is essential that the eggs are fully incorporated, resulting in a smooth texture.

We prepare a tray lined with baking paper and, using a pastry syringe, form equal-sized choux, leaving a little space between them. We preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and place the tray inside. The doughnuts bake for 25-30 minutes, until they become golden and fluffy. After removing them from the oven, we let them cool on a rack, and when they are completely cool, we gently cut a lid on top.

Now we move on to preparing the delicious cream. In a double-bottomed pot or over a steam bath, we heat 600 ml of milk. In another bowl, we whisk the egg yolks, adding a pinch of salt, 150 g of sugar, and 50 g of flour. We mix well and add 100 ml of cold milk. When the milk in the double-bottomed pot starts to boil, we carefully pour the egg mixture over it, stirring continuously. We let it boil until the cream thickens, having a consistency similar to that of sour cream. Once the cream is ready, we take it off the heat and add 100 g of butter, 2 tablespoons of instant coffee, and 100 g of dark chocolate broken into pieces. We mix until everything is homogeneous and let the cream cool.

For assembly, using a spoon or a piping bag, we fill each choux with the cooled cream. On top, we add a portion of whipped cream, and then place the lid on top. For decoration, we melt a little chocolate and drizzle it over, giving an attractive appearance and a unique taste. These cream-filled doughnuts are truly an irresistible dessert, perfect for impressing anyone!
