Preparing this delicious dessert is a real pleasure, and the final result will surely impress anyone who tastes it. We start by preparing the necessary ingredients for the layers. In a large bowl, we mix the flour with Rama, sugar, egg, and baking powder. It is essential to gradually add milk so that we obtain a malleable dough that can be easily rolled out. Once we have the dough, we divide it into six equal parts. From two of these parts, we will bake two sheets the size of the tray, using the back of it to bake them evenly.

The other four parts of dough are rolled out one by one to prepare the filled rolls. For the filling, we combine poppy seeds, flour, Rama, sugar, and half of the baking powder, mixing all the ingredients well. Then, we gradually add 200 ml of milk, lemon zest, and grated apple, mixing until the composition becomes homogeneous. This delicious filling will give a special taste to our rolls. We fill the four sheets of dough with this mixture, carefully roll them up, and place them in the prepared tray, which we have covered with aluminum foil greased with Rama or baking paper.

After placing the rolls, we put them in the oven to bake. It is important to mention that during baking, the rolls will unite, forming a single delicious layer. When they are ready, we take them out of the oven and let them cool without unrolling them, so they remain connected.

In the meantime, we take care of the cream between the layers. We prepare the pudding by mixing it with sugar, gradually adding cold milk. Then, we put the mixture on the heat and boil it until it thickens, letting it cool. In another bowl, we cream 250 grams of Rama with two tablespoons of powdered sugar until it becomes a fluffy cream. Once the pudding has completely cooled, we gradually add the creamed Rama, mixing well to obtain a uniform and airy composition.

For assembly, we use a larger tray. We place the first baked sheet on the back of the tray, spread half of the pudding cream, then place the baked rolls side by side without separating them. On top of the rolls, we put the remaining cream and cover with the other baked sheet. On top, we pour melted white cooking chocolate, and for a special appearance, we can grate a little white chocolate over it. Let the dessert rest for a while before cutting and serving, to allow the flavors to blend. This recipe promises a refined dessert, perfect for any special occasion!
