To prepare a delicious cake, we start by gathering all the necessary ingredients. We need biscuits, good quality chocolate, nuts, rum flavoring, whipping cream, sugar, and water for the caramel syrup. We begin by mixing all the ingredients for the chocolate mousse. Using a mixer, we combine well until we achieve a fluffy and homogeneous mixture, which will serve as the base of our cake.

In a separate container, we melt the chocolate over steam, being careful not to burn it. The melted chocolate will be carefully added to the mousse mixture, gently mixing to maintain the cream's aeration. Then, we add the crushed nuts, which will provide a crunchy texture and delicious flavor, as well as the rum flavoring, which will enhance the flavors of our cake.

In a saucepan, we prepare the caramel syrup. We add the sugar and water, letting them boil until we obtain a golden caramel. When the caramel is ready, we take it off the heat and add the rum essence for extra flavor. It is important to let the syrup cool slightly before using it to soak the biscuits.

Now that all the components are prepared, we can start assembling the cake. We take a layer of biscuits and generously soak them with the caramel syrup, so they are well soaked, but not so much that they fall apart. We place the first layer of biscuits in a tray, followed by a portion of the chocolate cream. We continue with another layer of biscuits, then again cream, repeating the process until we finish all the ingredients. The last layer will be biscuits, covered with a generous layer of whipped cream, which adds a touch of elegance to the cake.

To finish, we decorate the cake with whipped cream on the top and edges, giving it an attractive appearance. If we wish, we can also add some pieces of Turkish delight for a colorful decoration and interesting texture. Once finished, we let the cake chill for a few hours to set and allow the flavors to blend perfectly. After it has cooled, it is ready to be enjoyed, offering an unforgettable culinary experience!

Ingredients

500 g biscuits, caramel syrup, 350 ml whipped cream. The cream I made from: 300 g margarine or butter, 200 g chocolate, 2 tablespoons cocoa, powdered sugar, rum essence, 150 g nuts.
