To prepare a delicious recipe for stuffed rolls with meat and cheese, start by dissolving the yeast in 2-3 tablespoons of warm water. Add 2-3 tablespoons of flour to achieve a mixture with the consistency of sour cream. This mixture will activate the yeast, which is essential for obtaining a fluffy dough. Let it rise in a warm place, away from drafts, until it doubles in volume, which will take about 15-20 minutes.

In the meantime, sift 500g of flour into a large bowl to aerate it and remove any impurities. Add the risen starter, eggs, 50ml of sunflower oil, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Start kneading the dough, using both your hands and a floured work surface, until you achieve an elastic and workable dough. This process can take between 10 and 15 minutes. Once the dough is ready, shape it into a round form and place it in a bowl greased with a little oil. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in volume, which will take about an hour.

During this time, prepare the delicious filling. Finely chop a medium onion and sauté it in a pan with a little oil until it becomes translucent. Add some sausages and salami cut into small cubes, letting them brown slightly. After they have cooled, add 150g of grated cheese and one egg, mixing well until homogeneous. This filling will give a savory taste to your rolls.

Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured work surface, forming a sheet that is thin enough. Spread the dough sheet with ketchup or tomato sauce, as preferred, and sprinkle with desired spices such as oregano, basil, or ground pepper. Evenly distribute the filling over the entire surface of the rolled out dough. Roll the dough with the filling into a log shape, then cut it into equal segments, about 5-6 cm.

Place each piece of dough upright in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush them with a beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked, and sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top. Preheat the oven to 180°C and place the tray inside. Bake the rolls for 25-35 minutes or until they are beautifully golden brown and the dough is fully cooked. Finally, let them cool slightly before serving, to enjoy their delicious aroma and fluffy texture. These rolls are ideal as an appetizer or snack, perfect for any occasion!
