Cranberry degrade

Cranberry and cocoa cake is a perfect treat for moments when you want to indulge in a sweet dessert, but also a bit tart due to the cranberries. This recipe is easy to make and does not require advanced skills in the kitchen, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced cooks. Let's get started! Necessary ingredients: - 200 g dried or fresh cranberries, depending on your preference - 150 g good quality cocoa - 3 large eggs - 200 g sour cream - 150 g margarine or butter (for a more intense flavor) - 1 packet of baking powder - 250 g sugar - A pinch of salt - 250 g flour The cake preparation begins with preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. In a large bowl, combine the eggs with the sugar and beat with a mixer on medium speed until the mixture becomes frothy and doubles in volume. This will help achieve a fluffy cake. Add the sour cream and melted margarine, mixing gently until well combined. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. These dry ingredients are sifted together to prevent lumps and ensure a fine texture for the cake. Gently fold the dry ingredient mixture into the wet mixture, stirring with a spatula until well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this could affect the fluffiness of the cake. Once you have a uniform batter, add the cranberries, mixing carefully to distribute them evenly throughout the batter. They will add a note of acidity and a pleasant contrast of textures. Prepare a baking tray by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with a little oil or margarine. Pour the batter into the tray and level the surface with a spatula. Place the cake in the preheated oven and let it bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. After baking, let the cake cool in the tray for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cake is completely cool, you can cut it into cubes and dust it with powdered sugar for an elegant look. This cranberry and cocoa cake is perfect alongside a cup of tea or coffee and can be served both on special occasions and as a treat on ordinary days. Enjoy every bite and savor the explosion of flavors that this delicacy brings!
Ingredients
- Layer 1: 150g flour mixed with a teaspoon of baking powder
- 115g butter
- 60g cocoa
- 215g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 115g fresh or frozen cranberries. Layer 2: 150ml sour cream
- 75g sugar
- 30g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 beaten egg
- vanilla essence
- 50g margarine
- 75g grated chocolate on top.
Preparation
We put a pot on the fire in which we mix: butter cubes, sugar, and cocoa powder. Meanwhile, we beat the egg whites of two eggs and the yolks separately. We mix the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt. After melting, we add the beaten egg whites, the yolks, and the third egg beaten simply with a fork on top. Finally, we incorporate the flour that has been mixed with the baking powder. After thawing the fruits, we let them drain and then add them to the mixture. We place baking paper in a tray and pour in the mixture. We make the second layer as follows: we mix sour cream with soft margarine, sugar, baking powder, flour, the egg beaten simply with a fork, and vanilla. We add it to the tray over the first layer that has already rested and grate chocolate on top. It goes in the oven and is left until you see it golden brown. A toothpick test is done. I baked it for about 40 minutes at 450°F in an electric oven. Recipe recommended by Lizura. Other apple cake recipes:
