Chocolate Cake

To create a delicious and appealing dessert, start by preparing the base of this chocolate cake. In a large bowl, beat the four eggs together with the sugar using a mixer until the mixture becomes airy and light yellow, having a fluffy texture. This process will help the base to be light and soft. Then, in a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and margarine together, stirring continuously to avoid burning. Once melted, let them cool slightly before incorporating them into the egg and sugar mixture. Add the melted chocolate and margarine to the bowl with the eggs, gently mixing to avoid losing air from the mixture. Once you have a homogeneous mixture, sift the flour together with the baking powder and gradually incorporate them into the chocolate mixture. This will give the base a good structure and a pleasant texture. Make sure to mix carefully to avoid forming lumps. The next step is to prepare the tart pan. Generously grease it with butter or margarine and sprinkle a little flour to prevent sticking. Pour the obtained mixture into the pan and level the surface with a spatula. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius and place the pan in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the base feels firm to the touch and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. After the base is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly, then turn it out onto a plate. Make sure the bottom side is now up, to form a stable base for the chocolate cream. To create the edges of the cake, take a plate slightly smaller than the base and apply gentle pressure, thus forming a depression that will keep the cream inside. While the base cools completely, you can prepare the delicious cream. In a saucepan, melt the two types of chocolate together with the cream, stirring constantly to ensure even melting. Once the chocolate is completely melted, add the margarine and continue to stir until it integrates perfectly into the mixture. Let the cream cool slightly so that it is not excessively hot when pouring it over the chocolate base. Once the cream is warm, pour it evenly over the prepared base, ensuring it distributes evenly. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and let it set well in the refrigerator, preferably overnight. This waiting time will allow the flavors to intensify and make the cake tastier. When you are ready to serve, you can decorate with chocolate flakes or fresh fruits for an extra touch of flavor. Enjoy every slice of this decadent cake!
