Turkey with fruit

Dried plums, without pits, are a delicacy that adds a note of natural sweetness and an interesting texture to dishes. We start by combining them with half of the clean apples, sliced thinly. This fruit combination will add a depth of flavor to our recipe. So, we place the plums and apples in a large bowl, where we add the bay leaves. Their flavors will blend perfectly with the sweetness of the fruits. After adding the ingredients, we pour in the wine, choosing the one we like best, whether it's a dry white wine or a sweeter red wine. We mix well to ensure that all the fruits are evenly coated with wine. We let the mixture sit for an hour, allowing the plums and apples to absorb the flavors of the wine and bay leaves. This will completely transform the taste of the fruits, bringing them to a new level of delight. After an hour, we drain the fruits, keeping the wine to use in other dishes or to enjoy as is. Now, the fruits are ready to be used in a variety of recipes. We can use them as a filling for pies or tarts, or we can add them to a cereal mix for a healthy breakfast. They can also be incorporated into a salad with feta cheese and nuts, providing a delicious contrast between sweet and salty. To intensify the flavors, we can also add a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg, which will pair perfectly with the fruit combination. This recipe is versatile and can be adapted according to personal preferences. Whether you choose to prepare it as a dessert or as a side dish for a roast, the result will surely be savory. So, do not hesitate to experiment with this recipe, adding ingredients that you like and, above all, enjoying every bite of this mix of flavors and textures. Happy cooking!
