Pizza with Mozzarella, Tomatoes (juice), Mushrooms, and Basil

I started preparing a delicious pizza by making a perfectly textured dough. The first step was to knead the dough by hand, feeling each ingredient come together harmoniously. After achieving a homogeneous mixture, I decided to stretch it directly in the baking tray without using a rolling pin. This was an inspired choice, as I could better control the thickness of the dough, resulting in a soft and fluffy base, perfect for holding the toppings. To create a suitable environment for the dough to rise, I placed a pot of boiling water at the bottom of the oven. The moisture generated by the hot steam accelerated the rising process, and the dough began to rise quickly, filling with air and becoming fluffy. It was pure magic to watch the dough transform, and its inviting aroma spread throughout the kitchen. When the dough reached the desired size, I moved on to the next step: preparing the toppings. I started by preheating the oven to the maximum temperature, ensuring that the pizza would bake evenly and have a crispy crust. I used a tomato sauce made from crushed tomatoes with plenty of pulp, which adds a rich and savory note. I spread the sauce evenly over the surface of the dough, so that each bite would be full of flavor. I added fresh mozzarella, chopped finely, which would melt and form a delicious golden crust. Then, I included some raw mushrooms, cleaned and sliced thinly, which would release their aroma during baking, adding an interesting texture. I enriched the toppings with fresh basil from the pot, whose green and aromatic leaves would add a touch of freshness. After arranging all the ingredients, I placed the tray in the hot oven, letting the pizza bake at high heat for about 25 minutes. During this time, the inviting aroma of the pizza began to fill the house, anticipating a delicious result. With each passing minute, the smell of baked dough, tomato sauce, and melted cheese became more intense, making us eager to savor this delicacy as soon as possible. When the time was up, I took the pizza out of the oven, admiring its golden and appetizing crust. It was the perfect moment to cut a slice and enjoy the taste and aroma of this pizza made with so much love.
