Tiramisu recipe for Kids

Although there are many tiramisu recipes, I thought to prepare a special version for kids, namely a tiramisu without wine, sherry, raw eggs, and coffee. This recipe is not only delicious but also safe for little ones, as I chose friendly and healthy ingredients. I prepared it especially for my parents, who celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary yesterday. I want to share this sweet moment with you. To start, we prepare the base of the tiramisu. We put water, sugar, and carob powder in a pot, mixing well. We boil the mixture on low heat, ensuring that the sugar and carob powder dissolve completely. This syrup will provide a natural and pleasant flavor to our dessert. Once we have a homogeneous composition, we let the mixture cool to room temperature. While the syrup cools, we take care of the ladyfingers. We take a deep dish where we carefully place the ladyfingers, making sure to form an even layer. Over them, we pour the carob drink, being careful to cover each ladyfinger so that it absorbs the syrup well. We let the ladyfingers soak for a few minutes until they become soft, but we don’t overdo it, as they need to keep their shape. As the ladyfingers soak, we prepare the mascarpone cream. We take a spacious bowl and add the mascarpone cream, then we add the fruit syrup for extra flavor, as well as grated orange zest to bring a note of freshness. We mix the ingredients with a mixer until we obtain a smooth and shiny cream, which will give an elegant look to our dessert. Now, we can start assembling the tiramisu. We spread a generous layer of cream over the ladyfingers, followed by another layer of ladyfingers, continuing with another layer of cream. We repeat this process until we reach three layers of ladyfingers and three layers of cream. Finally, we generously sprinkle grated chocolate over the last layer of cream to add a decadent taste. After we finish assembling the tiramisu, it is important to let it chill in the fridge for at least two hours, to firm up and allow the flavors to blend. This cooling time is essential to achieve a perfect dessert. In the end, we joyfully serve this special tiramisu, accompanied by birthday wishes for my parents. Enjoy your meal!
Preparation
Although, apart from the classic Tiramisu original recipe, there are many tiramisu recipes, I thought to prepare a version for children, meaning a tiramisu without wine, sherry, raw eggs, or coffee. This is my favorite version and I prepared it especially for my parents who celebrated 10 years of marriage yesterday. We put water, sugar, and carob powder in a pot and boil the mixture until the carob powder dissolves, then we let the mixture cool. We take a dish in which we place the ladyfingers and pour the carob drink over them, making sure that the ladyfingers are completely covered with liquid. We let the ladyfingers absorb the liquid and then place them in a tray. We put the mascarpone cream in a bowl, add the fruit syrup, grated orange peel, and mix with a mixer until we obtain a glossy cream. We spread a layer of cream over the ladyfingers, add another layer of ladyfingers, spread another layer of cream, and so on until we have 3 layers of ladyfingers and three layers of cream. We sprinkle grated chocolate over the last layer of cream and keep the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy your meal! Happy anniversary mom and dad!
