Seasoned pan-fried chicken breast

Seasoned pan-fried chicken breast goes into a little garlic sauce after browning. The slices pick up the flavor of Baza Mirodenia and chili, and are served with a salad of your choice. I served it with roasted pepper salad. Preparation: 5 minutes. Cooking: 8 minutes. Total time: 13 minutes. Servings: 1. About 500 kcal and 60 g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 250 g chicken breast (1/2 breast)
- 1 teaspoon Baza Mirodenia by Fuchs
- 1/4 teaspoon ground chili
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 100 ml milk
Preparation
1. Pat the chicken breast dry with paper towels, then cut it into slices about 1 cm thick. Season them with Baza Mirodenia and chili. 2. Heat the oil in a nonstick pan without letting it smoke. Crush the garlic and sauté it for 1 minute, until lightly golden. 3. Add the chicken slices to the pan and fry them for 1 minute on each side, until browned. 4. Pour in the milk and let it simmer for no more than 5 minutes, until it has almost completely reduced and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
Notes
The oil only needs to get hot, not smoke. Slices cut to a similar thickness cook more evenly; slice any thick ones more thinly before adding them to the pan. Garlic darkens quickly, and if it browns too much, it can make the sauce bitter. The minute on each side goes quickly, but let the slices sit in the pan until you turn them. Serve with a green salad or boiled potatoes. You can use 100 ml chicken broth instead of milk, and the sauce will be less creamy; the version with milk contains dairy. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and eat them within 3 days.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use turkey breast?
Yes. Cut it into thin slices and cook it until it reaches 74°C in the center.
What should I do if the milk reduces before the chicken is done?
Add 30 ml milk and leave the pan over low heat for 1 more minute.
Can I use cream instead of milk?
Use 100 ml cream with at least 20% fat, left at room temperature for 15 minutes. Stir it with 2 tablespoons of hot sauce, then add it to the pan and let the sauce heat over low heat without boiling.
