Bananas with Blueberry Sauce

To prepare a delicious and healthy dessert, we will use simple ingredients but with a maximum impact on flavor. We start by gathering all the necessary ingredients, so we have a pleasant experience in the kitchen. You will need about 200 grams of fresh or frozen blueberries, 150 grams of cream (preferably one with a high fat content for a creamy texture), 2-3 tablespoons of honey, 2 ripe bananas, and a handful of cashew nuts, which will add a crunch and nutrition. We start by washing the blueberries well under a stream of cold water, then we let them drain in a sieve. If you are using frozen blueberries, make sure to let them thaw completely and drain the excess water. Once the blueberries are ready, we add them to a large bowl along with the cream and honey. Using a mixer or blender, we mix the ingredients until we obtain a uniform and creamy composition, which will add a perfect flavor to our dish. While the blueberry mixture is homogenizing, we take care of the bananas. We take two ripe bananas, peel them, and cut them into slices about 1 cm thick. These slices will serve as the base for our dessert, bringing natural sweetness and a pleasant texture. We arrange the banana slices on a plate or in a deep bowl, forming an even layer. After we finish preparing the blueberry mixture, we carefully pour the cream and blueberry composition over the banana slices, making sure that each piece of banana is well covered. Finally, we sprinkle the cashew nuts over the entire dish, adding a crunchy note that perfectly contrasts with the creaminess of the blueberry mixture. The dessert can be served immediately or left in the refrigerator to cool slightly, allowing the flavors to intensify. This recipe not only looks spectacular, but it is also full of vitamins and minerals, making it an excellent choice for a healthy snack or a refreshing dessert. I invite you to enjoy every bite!
