Apple cinnamon cake

To prepare this delicious apple cake, the first step is to prepare the apples. I chose fresh apples, which I grated using a food processor. This process took only five minutes, and the apples were ready to use without the need to peel them. After grating them, I sprinkled them with lemon juice to prevent oxidation, which keeps the apples looking beautiful and appetizing. Then, I added vanilla sugar and cinnamon, mixing the ingredients well. It is very important to mention that you should not squeeze the apples to drain the juice they release, as the natural juice will add moisture to the cake and contribute to a more intense flavor. The next step was preparing the baking pan. I chose a 26 cm round pan, which I lined with parchment paper, making sure to grease the bottom well with oil, and I also greased the edges with a little oil to prevent the cake from sticking. After I finished with the pan, I preheated the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, preparing for baking the cake. Next, I built the cake in layers. I started with a layer of white powder, which is the cake mixture, about one finger thick. Then, I added a layer of apples, about two fingers thick. I repeated this process, alternating layers: one layer of powder and one layer of apples, until I had three layers of powder and three layers of apples, making sure that the last layer was apples. This structure ensures an even distribution of apple flavor throughout the cake. After all the layers were carefully placed, I placed the pan in the preheated oven, setting the time for 30 minutes. A delightful aroma spread throughout the kitchen while the cake was baking. After 30 minutes, I took the cake out of the oven and let it cool slightly. Then, I carefully removed the ring of the pan, and the result was a beautiful cake with visible layers of apples and cake, ready to be enjoyed. This apple cake is perfect to be served with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, turning any meal into a special moment!
