Tiramisu original recipe

This light summer cake is a true delight, and the simple ingredients transform into an unforgettable culinary experience. Although it may seem like an ordinary recipe, the passion with which we prepare it for our loved ones makes all the difference. Tiramisu is the perfect dessert for warm days, bringing a touch of freshness and indulgence. To begin, prepare a fragrant coffee and let it cool. In a saucepan, add the four tablespoons of sugar and pour enough water to cover it. Bring the mixture to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar completely dissolves and you obtain a syrup of uniform consistency. This syrup will add the necessary sweetness to the composition. In a glass bowl, start by mixing the egg yolks. Then, add the hot syrup in a thin stream, pouring it along the edge of the bowl. This step is crucial as it helps cook the egg yolks, preventing them from being consumed raw. Mix well until the composition becomes homogeneous and whitens. Next, it's time to prepare the whipped cream. Use a mixer to beat the liquid cream (I recommend the Meggle brand, for example) until it becomes creamy, being careful not to overbeat it. Once the cream is ready, add the mascarpone cheese and a teaspoon of instant coffee, mixing gently. Now, incorporate the previously beaten egg yolks, continuing to mix to achieve a fine texture. Add another teaspoon of instant coffee to intensify the flavor. Now, it's time to prepare the ladyfingers. Quickly dip them in coffee, being careful not to leave them in the liquid too long, or they will break apart. In a square dish, start layering a layer of ladyfingers, followed by a layer of cream, alternating until the ingredients are finished. If you want to add a touch of freshness and flavor, you can intersperse candied orange peels, which will provide an extra burst of flavor to the cake. Finally, dust the tiramisu with cocoa powder and instant coffee, leaving room for your desired decoration. It is important to let the cake chill in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving, so the flavors blend perfectly. Thus, you will obtain a refreshing and delicious dessert that everyone will love. Enjoy this passionate tiramisu! The total preparation time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the portions are sufficient for 16 people. If this recipe has inspired you, feel free to find it on my blog as well!
Ingredients
- 400 g ladyfingers
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 250 g liquid cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon of instant coffee
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 400 ml unsweetened and cooled coffee
- Grated orange peel
- Cocoa and instant coffee powder for decoration
Preparation
A light summer cake that everyone knows and which may not have anything special, except for the passion with which we cook it when preparing it for our loved ones. Original tiramisu recipe. Preparation method: Brew the coffee and let it cool. In a saucepan, put 4 tablespoons of sugar and add enough water to cover the sugar, simmering on low heat until the sugar has melted and a syrup is obtained. Then, in a glass bowl, mix the egg yolks a little and then add the syrup in a thin stream along the edge of the bowl, mixing well until they whiten, so that the yolks cook and we do not consume them raw. Next, whip the liquid cream (I used Meggle crème pâtisserie) with a mixer until it becomes creamy, but not too stiff. Add the mascarpone cream, a teaspoon of instant coffee, then pour in the well-beaten egg yolks and mix well. For a delicate shade and pleasant aroma, add another teaspoon of instant coffee and mix. Soak the ladyfingers in coffee, but do not leave them too long, just dip them and take them out to avoid crumbling. In a square tray, place a layer of ladyfingers, then a layer of cream, then another layer of ladyfingers and another of cream, alternating until resources are finished. Because my sister is a big fan of oranges, I added some candied orange peel here and there. Dust with cocoa and instant coffee and decorate as inspired. Refrigerate before serving. Enjoy your meal!
