Italian Style Peppers

Wash and dry the tomatoes, ensuring that no impurities remain on their surface. Then, cut them in half, regardless of their size, or even into quarters if you prefer smaller pieces. Fresh tomatoes will add a delicious flavor and vibrant color to the final dish. Next, wash and dry the peppers, removing any excess water. Cut them in half lengthwise, making sure that each half retains part of the stem to give them a more appealing look. Remove the seeds and veins from the peppers to avoid an unpleasant texture. Place the pepper halves side by side in a greased baking dish or on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, ensuring that the peppers do not overlap. Fill each pepper with the halves or quarters of tomatoes, taking care to distribute them evenly. Place garlic slices among the tomatoes, distributing them evenly, which will add an intense and aromatic flavor to the dish. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, being careful not to overdo it, to allow the flavors to shine through. Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes, drop by drop, in each pepper, ensuring that all ingredients are well covered. Preheat the oven to a high temperature, then place the tray with the stuffed peppers in, allowing them to bake for about 30 minutes. At the end of this time, check if the peppers have softened, cooked, and started to brown slightly. To add extra flavor and a special appearance, five minutes before taking them out of the oven, sprinkle grated parmesan over the peppers (this is an optional but highly recommended step). When the peppers are ready, serve them warm, sprinkled with freshly chopped green parsley, suitable as a snack, main dish, or dinner. This recipe will surely impress family and friends, bringing them joy and satisfaction with every bite. The flavors will blend perfectly, and the dish will quickly become a favorite.
